SolidFire SF3010 Storage Node
Finally, service providers have access to a storage solution
that matches the on-demand deployment and scalability needs of the
cloud.
Each SolidFire 3010™ storage node is delivered as a self-contained
storage appliance that provides the optimum balance of storage
performance and capacity. This balance enables system utilization
of more than 85% without performance degradation. Aggregation of
the storage resources on each SF3010™ node results in capacity and
performance scaling up with each storage node added to the system.
Storage clusters are built by simply combining multiple SF3010™
nodes over a 10Gb Ethernet grid.
Reaching cloud scale with a SolidFire system is as simple and
efficient as adding new nodes as capacity demands dictate.
The SolidFire primary storage solution scales to 100 nodes, 1 PB
of capacity, and can host more than 100,000 tenant volumes within a
single cluster. At 50,000 IOPS per node, even the smallest
deployments erase the server vs. storage I/O gap that has existed
for years.
The result is a single storage solution that enables cloud
providers to scale efficiently, on demand, and without downtime or
any impact on application performance.
