SolidFire Exec to Speak in OpenStack Storage Panel
Boulder, Colo. - October 3, 2011 - SolidFire, a provider of all-solid-state (SSD)

announced that the company will be exhibiting at the OpenStack™
Conference, taking place in Boston, October 5-7, 2011. On
Friday, October 7, Adam Carter, the company's director of
product management, will participate in the OpenStack Storage
panel at the conference.
Carter will discuss the technical case and business advantages for
deploying Block Storage as a Service (BSaaS) in the cloud.
The speaker will cover the current issues of deploying block
storage at cloud scale and how the use of SSDs can significantly
improve performance, efficiency, and management. He will also
explore some of the new services that this technology, in concert
with OpenStack, can enable within the cloud.
