Senior Account Executive (Boulder, CO)
SolidFire is currently seeking experienced Sales Executives. As one of Boulder's hottest startups backed by top tier venture firms, SolidFire is delivering high-performance and high-efficiency primary storage systems for cloud service providers. Candidates should have a proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding assigned quotas while selling storage subsystems to complex buying coalitions in medium to large enterprises across all industries.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of sales plans
- Manage and further develop relationship between SolidFire and existing customers to increase utilization of our product
- Ongoing communication with existing customers to maintain high customer satisfaction levels
- Proactively identify and address support issues in a timely manner
- Boost customer business by leveraging Solidfire's technical, sales and operational resources
- Lead cross-functions teams to further our cause with both existing customers as well as net new customers
- Grow pipeline by adding new customers
- Regular forecasting and reporting of revenue
- Attend and speak at trade shows and conferences
- Cold calling & prospecting
- Maintain a complete knowledge of the SolidFire products and services
Requirements:
- 10 years selling experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned quotas
- MUST have strong storage selling experience
- Proven track record of selling storage subsystems into cloud service providers
- Proven ability to understand how to navigate through complex buying coalitions
- Management experience preferred, but not required
- BS degree required, MBA a plus
- Frequent Travel, 60 - 80%
- Concrete understanding of consultative selling models and strategic selling models
- Extremely strong written communication skills as well as public speaking/presentation skills

This is a contract position with a flexible work schedule, including the option to work remotely. This person must be available to report to our office in downtown Boulder, CO on occasion to collaborate with other team members and departments. The primary responsibilities of this position includes requirements gathering, design mapping, creating/presenting mockups, production, and finally production/launch and maintenance. Software QA Engineer (Boulder, CO)
Our QA group is looking for a Software QA Engineer that can quickly become a key contributor in our software QA environment. This is a high-visibility role that will impact the fundamental performance of our new cloud storage product. In this fast paced start-up environment you have the opportunity to work on advanced software and will be expected to show initiative and passion on a daily basis by helping shape the functions and processes of the QA organization.
As a Software QA engineer,your responsibilities include:
- Create test plans and test strategies
- Test automation development

Requirements:

SolidFire is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer who is passionate about developing innovative automated testing solutions for our state-of-the-art cloud storage solution. The candidate should be self-driven, with a strong background in Python programming and test automation frameworks. The primary responsibility of the candidate will be to work closely with both QA and Development teams to design and create a unified test automation framework that will be used across all levels of the R&D organization.

- Design and develop a reliable, scalable and maintainable test automation framework
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with the QA and Development teams to develop automation processes and plans
- Develop detailed automated tests from test plans, test cases and functional specs
